Liminality & Communitas

After the sunset, a man wonders between the edges of the highways gathering edible roadkill animals.  Liminality & Communitas is an experimental documentary short film about the utilization of roadkill animals. The film investigates the border between life and death and the edges of the manmade world. Liminality & Communitas is a visually rich one night journey during which temporal and eternal meet.

  The title alludes to the controversial website the users of which were able to share vast amounts of material most of which contravened the copyright laws, especially in the days before the rise of streaming services. The sharing of the material on the internet has radically altered the distribution of music and films, the position of users vis-à-vis the copyright laws, and the role of the author behind the works.
