en: This work for solo percussion, called “Dialogues”, was inspired by the drama of ancient Greece. The piece simulates a situation on theatrical stage with multiple characters and choir and also reflects the form of a traditional Greek tragedy. The percussion set consists of vibraphone, drums, blocks, cymbals and tamtams. The dialogue in music happens between different layers of sounds – wooden and metallic, short and sustained, loud and silent. The works is written for and dedicated to Elio Marchesini.
